How to use the Schengen Visa Photo Maker (35×45 mm)
- Take a photo against a plain white or light wall.

A Schengen visa photo is 35 × 45 mm, in colour, taken within the last 6 months, full face and front view, on a plain light (usually white) background. Most visa centres ask for the head to fill about 70–80% of the photo height — roughly 32–36 mm from chin to crown.

How do I print the photo sheet?
Print the 4×6 in sheet at any photo printing service or on a home photo printer using 4×6 in (10×15 cm) photo paper. Choose “actual size” or 100% — never “fit to page” — then cut along the grey lines.
Is the Schengen photo size the same for all countries?
Yes, 35×45 mm is used by all Schengen countries, but details such as background colour can differ slightly between consulates. Check the checklist of the country you apply to.
Can this tool remove or change the background?
No. It crops and sizes your photo exactly. Take the photo in front of a plain white or light wall so the background is already correct.
