How to use the Resize Image

  1. Enter the width and/or height in pixels, or switch to percent.
  2. Choose or drop your images (up to 30).
  3. Download the resized images. Change the size to redo them instantly.

Enter a width, a height or both: with “Keep proportions” on, the image is scaled to fit inside that size without stretching. Turn it off to resize to the exact width × height.

Tips

  • Making an image smaller keeps it sharp. Making it much larger than the original makes it blurry — no tool can add real detail.
  • Resizing to fewer pixels also makes the file smaller. For an exact file size in KB, use the image compressor.

Frequently asked questions

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Conversion happens inside your browser, so your photos never leave your device. The page keeps working even if you go offline after it loads.

What does “Keep proportions” do?

It keeps the width-to-height ratio of your photo, so nothing looks stretched. The image is scaled to fit inside the width and height you enter.

Which format is the resized image saved in?

The same format as the original (JPG stays JPG, PNG stays PNG). HEIC and other formats are saved as JPG.
